Program Structure

Content and Structure of the program:

The objective of the study program is to enable students to recognize problems independently, to solve these problems self-sufficiently with an economic foundation and to deduce action alternatives based on these solutions. The students learn to think systematically and develop advanced analytical skills, both of which will qualify them for management as well as consulting positions. The students learn to understand complex coherences and to view and evaluate problems from multiple perspectives.

Students discuss fundamental as well as recent research questions from selected areas of business administration. They acquire in-depth knowledge and skills in theoretic concepts, models and procedures connected to these research questions. The study program offers a qualification in at least two faculty approved specialization areas. Those are:

  • Accounting and Taxation
  • Finance
  • Logistics and Operations Management
  • Marketing and E-Business
  • Management and Entrepreneurship
  • Economics

Modules are offered in German as well as English. If you only have language skills in one of the two languages of instruction, the course can be studied in principle, but the options are very limited. It cannot be guaranteed that all specializations can be studied in full.

One main objective is to link subject-specific competences with international dimensions.
