An internship during your studies is an important component for starting your professional career. In conversations with employers it is repeatedly noted that the completion of an internship is a meaningful step towards successfully entering the workforce. Therefore, the faculty recommends students complete a voluntary internship. This can be done during the semester break or in place of a university semester. In the latter case, the option of applying for a leave semester may be used. Tips and information on applying for a leave semester are published in the "Enrollment regulations" (Immatrikulationsordnung) §11.
Please note: Internships are not part of the study regulations at the Faculty of Economics and Management, i.e. they are not recognized for degrees.
Students who are interested in an internship abroad can fall back on various internship exchanges and offers. Information can be obtained from the faculty and the International Office.
