The Examination Board has unanimously decided on the equivalence of the Bachelor's degree programmes “Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft" and "Business Administration". The legal basis for this is § 15 Para. 2 of the relevant study and examination regulations.

The Examination Board has unanimously decided on the equivalence of the Bachelor's degree programmes "Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft" and "International Management".  The legal basis for this is § 15 Para. 2 of the relevant study and examination regulations.

The Examination Board unanimously approved the equivalence of the "International Business and Economics" and "International Management" programmes. Legal basis for this is §16 Abs. 2 of the relevant study and examination regulations.

At the request of the Dean of Studies for the Bachelor's degree program "International Business and Economics" with regard to the study and examination regulations of May 6, 2015 and June 7, 2019, the Examination Board decides on the following curricular substitution in accordance with Table 2, which is mandatory for all students. The decision will enter into force from the winter semester 2024/25 until revoked.

The examination board of the Faculty of Economics and Management has decided to allow the (partial) curricular substitution of the compulsory part of the expiring study and examination regulations 2017 for the summer semester 2020.

The examinations in accordance with the 2009 and 2012 examination and study requirements for the bachelor programs: Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Volkswirtschaftslehre, International Management and International Business and Economics will be offered for a final time in the upcoming summer term 2018. Registrations for examinations must be made in due time irrespective of any ongoing procedures for the recognition of study and examination achievements.

Registrations in this regard are subject to the legally binding conclusion of ongoing recognition procedures.

Beginning with the upcoming winter semester 2019/20, in case of technical problems on the last 3 days before the deadline, it is possible to register for the exams via e-mail to the examination office of the Faculty of Economics and Management (pruefungsamt-ww@ovgu.de). The e-mail must be sent from the student OvGU address (vorname.nachname@st.ovgu.de) and contain the following information: 

• Matriculation number, first and last name
• Exam(s) to be registered incl. exam number, examiner
• Reason why a registration on your own via the LSF is not possible

As "additional modules", you can only take courses outside the Faculty of Economics and Management, for example if you want to gain additional qualifications in rhetoric, pedagogy or other areas - but always outside the FEM. Students enrolled in Bachelor's programs cannot take Master's modules and vice versa. Only modules that are open for your course of study can be taken.

General information: 

- No specific form needed 

- Authentication and submission via student (!) email address 

- subsequent registration can only be granted if the applicant can coherently and credibly demonstrate that missing the deadline of registration was no actual/own fault

- Postal submission (must include a signature) is possible as well 

Process in case of an illness: 

If the valid reasong for subsequent registration of an exam is illness, an additional medical certificate, which illustrates the specific physical / mental impairment hast to be submitted.

As per decree of the Examination Board as from the SuSe 2004, only non-programmable pocket calculators, without communicating or (full) text processing functions acceptable. You can find more information here. 

When applying for certificates of any kind (Bafög. list of grades, etc.) it is important to take  a processing time of at least 3 days by the examination office into account.

When sending theses from abroad, please inform yourself about the customs and shipping costs incurred; these must be borne by the students themselves.
