Pre-course Mathematics
To make the transition into your studies as easy as possible, we offer pre-courses in Mathematics, to help you refresh your knowledge, master first obstacles, and to bring you to the same level as your peers.
In "Grundkurs Abiturwissen" (language of instruction: German) relevant basic concepts of precalculus will be refreshed and trained application-oriented.
The subject-specific pre-courses build on the basic pre-course and prepare you for the necessary mathematical skills and knowledge of your study program. You can, however, take part in these without attending the basic pre-course "Grundkurs Abiturwissen" first.
We offer the course "Aufbaukurs: Fir fpr die Finanzmathematik und Statistik" (language of instruction: German) specifically for freshmen of our faculty.
Participation in the pre-courses mathematics is free of charge. Registration is neccessary.
