Admission requirements:

• University entrance qualification (z. B. Abitur)
• Knowledge of the German language, generally at least at B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
• Suitable forms of proof of language proficiency can be found here.
  All language certificates that are proven in the form of a language test are valid for 5 years.

Field of interest:

Interest in macroeconomic questions, good or very good english and math skills.

Application with german school degree:

• Application at the University Magdeburg
• Application deadline: September 30 (limitation period)

Application with international school degree:

• Application via uni-assist
• Application deadline: Juli 15 (limitation period)

International applicants may not apply via the OVGU-application platform, but according to the guidelines of the academic international students’ office and the International Office. 

• Proof of sufficient language skills in German in form of DSH level 2, TestDaF level 4, ZOP, or equivalent
