In 2012 the Faculty of Economics and Management entered into a close cooperation with the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH). Several IWH senior positions, the presidency among them, are associated with FEM professorhips.
Since the 1990s, our Magdeburg Experimental Laboratory of Economic Research (MaXLab) is recognized as a top level platform to conduct experimental research on human decision making and economic behavior.
FZSE is a research center focussing on the institutional characteristics, on particular challenges and developments within the German Savings Banks sector. The FZSE directors are FEM professors.
